Results
Results can take up to 3 days to come through, and longer if there are any contraindications. Positive samples will lead to a 5-year suspension, notified on your Sentinel profile.
There are no longer any paper based medical certificates issued. Everything now is uploaded onto Sentinel. You must have a sentinel profile in order for your results to be issued. For more information please call 02074761111.

Cancellation
If less than 14 days notice is given of a cancellation of a booking, part of a booking, or a candidate fails to attend at the appointed time and place or fails to bring with them specified photographic identification or such documentation and/or information as is required for their test or examination then the full fee will be charged. If a booking is made within 14 days of the appointment, the booking cannot be rescheduled or refundable. Same day bookings will be charged in advance of attendance and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Candidates must ensure that they can attend their scheduled appointment before finalising their booking. Appointments that are rescheduled on the day of the appointment will incur the full fee of the appointment.

Requirements
Learners must be 16+ and bring along valid ID (Passport, Driving license or ID card) along with National Insurance and Proof of Address.
Availability
- Courses will be scheduled upon receiving the minimum 10 learners per session and only 12 spaces available per course.
- Courses run weekday and weekends so book in advance by checking the "Upcoming events" to avoid any disappointment.
- Courses will be delivered in house but can also be delivered on site.

About Fire Safety Awareness / Fire Marshal
This qualification is aimed at staff that has been recently appointed or intends to be appointed as a fire marshal/warden in the workplace.
The course provides employers with a programme which assists them in proving due diligence and demonstrates their legal commitment to staff training as required by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
PRINCIPLES OF FIRE CURRICULUM INCLUDES
- Understand basic fire safety and what to do In the event of an emergency.
- Understand the principles of fire risk control.
- Understand the basics of practical fire safety.
- Understand the principles of fire safety legislation under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- Develop knowledge and understanding of how fire spreads and the behavior of humans in the event of fire
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the role of the fire marshal
ASSESSMENT

To Award this qualification the Learner must achieve a percentage pass in the MCQpaper.
CERTIFICATE
Learners who successfully complete this course will be awarded a LEVEL 2- AWARD IN THE PRINCIPLES OF FIRE & THE ROLE OF THE FIRE MARSHAL Certificate, ID card and a training manual. There are no pre-requisites to enroll on this course however candidates must have the physical ability to carry out the procedures in this course.
